Tasked with bringing “Xerocon, Supercharged” to Olympia London, INVNT faced a unique dual challenge: transforming a massive global fintech conference into an unmistakably British experience while strictly adhering to a shared sustainability mandate. Rather than starting from a blank page, the team shipped existing scenic infrastructure from the recent Brisbane event in just two 20 foot containers, cleverly repurposing and reskinning the assets to build a vibrant “Town Square.” This indoor celebration of the British high street featured highly localised, interactive touchpoints like “The Chippy,” “The Offie,” and a 40 metre indoor slide, ensuring the 2,200 delegates lingered, played, and connected rather than just passing through. By blending these deeply human, tactile environments with cutting edge tech, including silent headphone Discovery Stages and AI powered wayfinding, the event provided the perfect, grounded setting for Xero’s massive JAX AI product announcements. Ultimately, Xerocon London proved that global event platforms can seamlessly adapt to local markets, cutting waste without sacrificing a bespoke, people first experience.
